The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 18.09.2024 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition No.8861/2018 (LA-KIADB). 2. In terms of the said order, the persons arrayed as respondent Nos.5 to 9 were directed to deposit the sum of `4,01,06,075/- and in case, they failed to do so, the accused was directed to recover the said amount from them. 3. The accused has filed an affidavit of compliance stating that he had issued a demand notice dated 24.11.2025 calling upon Printed from counselvise.com - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10856-DB CCC No. 322 of 2025 respondent Nos.5 to 9 in the writ petition to pay the demanded amount, failing which appropriate action would be taken in accordance with the rules. It is stated that since the amount was not deposited, on 12.01.2026, the accused has forwarded the case to the Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate for recovery of the amount as land revenue. 4. Clearly, the accused is not required to take any further steps, as the recovery is required to be effected as arrears of land revenue. The concerned revenue authority is now required to take the necessary steps for recovery of the said amount. 5.
