KUMAR, VICE-PRESIDENT:- This Miscellaneous Application is filed by the Assessee under section 254(2) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (“the Act”) seeking rectification of the order dated 17.12.2024, passed by the Tribunal in ITA No. 348/Ahd/2020, pertaining to the Assessment Year 2016-17. 2. The amendment in the Rule 6(7A) w.e.f. 01.07.2016 would be applicable from the AY 2017-18. Since the assessment before us pertains to AY 2016-17, the amendment is not applicable. Consequently, the disallowance u/s 35(2AB) of the Act is liable to be allowed. The para 11 stands corrected to that extent. 3.
