Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals)- 10, Pune dated 14.02.2020 for the assessment year 2015-16. 2. When the matter had come up for hearing, ld. AR for the assessee filed a letter dated 23.08.2022 seeking permission to Assessee by : Shri Nikhil S. Pathak Revenue by : Shri Hitendra B. Ninawe Date of hearing : 24.08.2022 Date of pronouncement : 24.08.2022 ITA No.439/PUN/2020 2 withdraw the above captioned appeal. The relevant contents of the said letter dated 23.08.2022 are reproduced hereunder :- “The above appeal is fixed for hearing on 24th August, 2022 before Hon’ble A bench. In this case, the assessee trust had filed appeal against the order of learned CIT(A). However, now, the assessee is not desirous of pursuing the said appeal and thus, it requests to withdraw the above appeal filed. Accordingly, the assessee requests for withdrawal of the said appeal filed. The assessee requests for placing this request for withdrawal of the appeal before the Hon’ble Members A bench for their directions.” 3. Considering the above submissions of the ld. AR for the assessee and ld. Sr. DR’s no objection for withdrawal of the present appeal, we hereby grant permission to the assessee to withdraw the present appeal. Accordingly, the above captioned appeal stands dismissed as ‘withdrawn’. 4. In the result, the appeal filed by the assessee stands dismissed as ‘withdrawn’.
