It transpires from the record that on the earlier date of hearing i.e., on 21.11.2025 the hearing of the stay was adjourned at the request of the learned Authorised Representative of the Assessee for today i.e., on 28.11.2025. Since the stay is considered as an urgent matter and listed on the immediate coming Friday for taking- up of all the miscellaneous matters and stay applications on priority. The appeal of the assessee is pending adjudication and the assessee has been seeking adjournment of the hearing of the appeal also for the last three occasions and now the appeal is fixed for hearing on 18.12.2025. Thus, it is apparent that the assessee is not serious abut the stay and no urgency is made-out for indulgence of this Tribunal in this stay. Accordingly, when the assessee has not made-out a case of any urgency or a fit case for grant of stay, the same is rejected.
