SRI.P.L.VENU KUMAR,CGC THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON 30.08.2019, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING: WP(C).No.17615 OF 2019(B) 2 JUDGMENT This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:- 1) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to respondents to allot a Permanent Account Number to the petitioner company and issue a PAN Card for the same within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court; ii) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Exhibit P4 within a time frame by this Honourable Court; iii) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Exhibit P5 application for PAN within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court; 2. The subject matter relates to non issuance of PAN Card to the petitioner, inspite of submitting the application sufficiently earlier, which is pending consideration before the 4th respondent. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Central Government Counsel as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos. 4 and 5 and perused the pleadings and documents on record. 4. In view of the innocuous relief sought for by the petitioner, there will be a direction to the 4th respondent to finalise the application submitted by the petitioner for PAN Card at the earliest, and at any rate, within a month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
