Before us, the assessee has filed a letter dated 29.09.2021 seeking permission to withdraw the appeal under ‘Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme’ under The Direct Taxes Vivad Se Vishwas Act, 2020. The relevant contents of such letter, read as under : “We have filed application in FORM-1 on dt. 30/12/2020 Assessee by None (withdrawal application) Revenue by Shri G.N. Singh Date of hearing 24-11-2021 Date of pronouncement 24-11-2021 IT(SS)A No.14/RPR/2019 Virendra Kumar Agrawal 2 under VIVAD SE VISWAS scheme, and we have recd FORM- 3 from department. Accordingly, we have made full payment of tax as intimated in FORM -3. Therefore, do not want to proceed with the appeal and request you to withdraw the same. A copy of Form -3 along with tax payment receipts is enclosed. So, we hereby requesting you to accept our withdrawal request.” 3. On perusal of the above letter and having no objection from the side of ld. DR, we allow the request of assessee to withdraw the appeal. 4. In the result, the appeal is dismissed as ‘withdrawn’.
